What are the responsibilities and job description for the Documentation Specialist position at TYGES International?
PURPOSE: To compose and compile technical and non-technical written materials as per the needs of the Quality Assurance and Engineering Departments. To ensure product specifications, user manuals, operation and manufacturing instructions are accurate, complete and easily comprehendible.
- Experience in manufacturing or HVAC a PLUS but not required.
- This will have the ability to work cross functionally with engineering / manufacturing to help with proper documentation for new products- exciting new opportunity with growth into more technical positions!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree within a technical field of study.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience within a Quality and/or Engineering or TECHNICAL product/company support role.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

3. Knowledge of and consistent enforcement of company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Designs, writes or edits a variety of documents used throughout the organization.
· Creates and/or reviews, and edits documents prior to their release in "DCentral" database to ensure production staff understanding.
· Works with Engineering and manufacturing staff to launch new products with the appropriate instructions and documentation.
· Conduct internal audits as needed and follow up on associated Corrective Actions.
· Manage all ISO and instruction entries into Database, industry related and proprietary software database for documentation.
· Coordinate the ECR, ECN, Deviation, Corrective Action Tracking and Alert processes through E-Synergy.
· Coordinate and follow up on the workflow of documentation including appropriate approvals and any necessary rejections.
· Facilitate any necessary communication to improve clarity and conformity for engineering changes, notifications and deviations.
· Input completed and correct ECR information into Epicor.
· Maintain the E-Synergy and content with regard to workflow, revisions and reviews.
· Assist stakeholders with Document and ECR initiation, workflow and closure or implementation.
· Enforce and maintain the processes used with DCentral and E-Synergy for compliance with ISO, internal processes and external customer expectations and requirements.
· Provide feedback to cross functional stakeholders regarding documentation content and compliance with systems and processes.
· Continuous improvement of systems and infrastructure pertaining to position and responsibilities.
· Knowledge of electrical components and drawings / products would be a PLUS
· Attends engineering and quality meetings as needed to support new product development and existing product documentation.
· Knowledge and understanding of compliance to and regulating bodies.
· Other duties for Engineering and Quality as assigned.
