This is a full-time, twelve-month professional position responsible to the Director for Institutional Effectiveness and is responsible for working with the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Academic Deans, department chairs, program directors, and administrative department heads in developing, conducting, and maintaining surveys; collecting, analyzing, and disseminating survey data; and utilizing survey-related software.
1. Designs and implements ad hoc surveys as requested by various college departments.
2. Suggests changes to designs and guidelines for administration of surveys.
3. Provides assistance and College-wide support in the collection of survey data.
4. Provides assistance in the analysis of survey data.
5. Provides assistance in the dissemination of survey data.
6. Acts as coordinator for the administration of various college-wide surveys, including but not limited to, the following: Student Evaluation of Faculty (course evaluations), Dean Evaluations by Faculty, College Wide Assessment of Services, and Student Assessment of Services.
7. Serves as an advisor to college personnel who need to conduct a survey.
8. Assists in collection, storage, and dissemination of survey data to the Director of Institutional Effectiveness.
9. Works collaboratively with the Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Research team to support college-wide strategic planning initiatives.
10.Works collaboratively to provide survey data for accreditation and reporting purposes, including but not limited to, SACSCOC and THECB.
11.Aids in the survey collection for CCSSE and SENSE.
12.Provides assistance for other assessment activities.
13.Completes assigned projects with accuracy adhering to project deadlines. 14.Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences, education, economics, statistics or other research related filed REQUIRED. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Three years of relevant work experience, preferably in research and/or conducting surveys. Higher education experience preferred.
3. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to establish positive public relations for the College and to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
4. Ability to use survey research methodologies, including survey design, sampling methods, data collection strategies, analysis of data sets, disaggregation of data, and interpretation of results.
5. Experience with survey software software (such as Class Climate, SurveyMonkey, and Course Evaluation) in the administrator capacity preferred.
6. Experience with enrollment management software (such as Banner, PeopleSoft and/or Jenzabar) preferred.
7. Work independently and effectively to meet multiple deadlines.
8. Handle multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
9. Work as a part of a team.
10.Complete assigned projects with accuracy while adhering to project deadlines. Must be committed to meeting deadlines.
11.Strictly adhere to confidentiality and anonymity protocols regarding data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40,000.00 per year
