Responsibilities
- The intern will assist with all aspects of design and may work with the construction team.
- This work can include hands-on engineering work such as calculations and simulation, drafting, 3D modeling, on-site observation of construction and business aspects such as preparing for presentations and maintaining project files.
- An intern may also be exposed to other related design disciplines, such as plumbing and electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled and pursuing an Associates or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited program
- Desire and ability to take direction from multiple engineers and facilitate work flow between different construction coordinators
- General understanding of engineering/construction documentation is preferred.
- Ability to interpret and analyze
- Strong spatial perception and visualizations skills
- Intermediate to advanced technology skills necessary, including familiarity with MS Office products.
- Exposure to Computer-aided Design software platforms (AutoCAD, Revit) considered beneficial
