Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for working on a team that facilitates the gathering and analysis of digital evidence in support of eDiscovery, legal, forensics, investigations, incident response, and other security processes.
Education & Experience: College degree (or equivalent experience) with 5 years of progressive experience in business, security, or IT environments.
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members. Practical knowledge of digital forensics techniques; ability to analyze and interpret forensics findings and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Use forensic and eDiscovery tool suites (e.g. Cellebrite, Encase, RelativityOne) (S0071)
Collect, process, package, transport, and store electronic evidence to avoid alteration, loss, physical damage, or destruction of data. (S0075)
Conducting forensic analysis in multiple operating system environments (e.g. Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, virtual machine, and cloud) (S0075)
Analyzing memory dumps to extract information (S0062)
Conduct analysis of log files, evidence, and other information to determine best methods for identifying the perpetrator(s) of a network intrusion. (T0027)
Computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies (K0001)
Incident response and handling methodologies (K0042)
Forensic lab design, configuration, and support applications (e.g. Wireshark, VMWare)
The desire to work both independently and collaboratively with a larger team
A willingness to be challenged along with a strong appetite for learning
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience in Digital Forensics, Information Security, Security Operations, Incident Response, and similar functions.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and correlate forensics data in order to assess risk
GIAC (GCIA, GCIH, GSEC, GCFA, GCFE, etc.), CISSP, CEH or related certification(s) desired
