U.Group seeks a Senior UX Designer to lead the exploration, ideation and design of the customer’s experience for clients in the public, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. At U.Group, our UX Designers expand beyond the digital realm and focus on the people. Through the exploration of human behavior patterns, groupings and journeys, they inform the creation of online and offline experiences. Leveraging qualitative and quantitative research, workshop planning and facilitation, and design ideation, they can explore, envision, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Along the way, you’ll lead the creation of customer journey maps and user flows, sitemaps and wireframes, usability testing, and collaborative client workshops, all of which will require a combination of technical skills and communication skills. The ideal candidate brings experience leveraging human centered design methodologies to align client goals with user needs and create experiences that have a positive impact on both. The Senior UX Designer is a strong, thoughtful communicator who is comfortable in client-facing situations and is an excellent presenter. As a member of this team you will demonstrate experience in UX that spans two or three different disciplines, such as User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, or Product Design.
