Multimedia illustrators are primarily responsible for operating multimedia-imaging equipment in order to produce visual displays and documents. They produce graphic artwork that is used in Army publications, signs, charts, posters, television and motion picture productions.
This is an entry level position with no experience necessary.
Position Responsibilities
As a Multimedia Illustrator you will be responsible for helping tell the Army Story. Some of your daily duties will include creating illustrations, layouts, overlays and posted used for advertising, produce computer generated graphics, draw cartoons for filmstrips and animation or films and periodically work with a television and film producer to design backdrops for film sets.
- Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
- Attend Basic Combat Training (BCT) for 10 weeks with pay
- Attend Advanced Individual Training (AIT) for 31 weeks with pay
Basic Qualifications:
- Age - 17 to 34 years old
- Education – High School graduate or GED holder; high school seniors also qualify
- Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
- Willing to undergo background and medical screening
