Job Description

Manages relationship with clients to ensure clients' financial needs are met and exceeded. Provides expert financial advice and counsel to customers and prospective clients especially in the areas of private banking, personal trust, and investments. Calls on potential and/or existing clients to develop new business and increase or retain relationships with current customers. Ensures the credit worthiness of customers, maintaining proper risk ratings and maintaining client satisfaction. Analyzes economic and industry market trends to identify potential business opportunities and high-risk situations. Underwrites and sponsors loans. Analyzes existing loans to ensure conformity with terms and to detect the development of unfavorable trends. Actively involved in community networking to identify and capitalize on new business development opportunities.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of experience in Community Private Banking
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Strong relationship management, lending, and new business development/sales skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Community Private Banking products and services, including credit processes, trust and estates, investments, etc.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make critical decisions independently
