The general duties as a Transcription Analyst for U.S. Legal Support are assigning of transcribers to assignments and ensuring transcripts are turned in on time to meet client deadlines. Additional responsibilities include QCing the bill and holds that are turned in from CERs and following the processes to ensure that clients can be billed for any jobs not ordered.

Essential Job Functions:

Assign CER jobs to transcribers:

  • Download forms folders from SPOT
  • Upload the documents to SPOT application
  • Check Service in progress for an available transcriber
  • To the bill add the transcriber name and rate
  • Assign transcriber through SPOT
  • Send job offer to transcriber via email through SPOT

Assign backorder CER jobs to transcribers:

  • Prepare a CER bill for the job based on the ordering information
  • Check service in progress for an available transcriber
  • Add the transcriber name and page rate to the bill
  • Assign transcriber through SPOT
  • Send job offer to transcriber via email through SPOT

Assign rescue, special circumstances rush jobs:

  • Prepare Admin pages or request a CER to prepare Admin pages
  • Gather all available documents to provide to the transcriber including audio
  • Prepare bill add transcriber and page rate
  • Assign transcriber through SPOT
  • Send job offer to transcriber via email through SPOT
  • Answer transcriber general questions, handle issues with CER audio or forms, calendar transcriber vacations or time off
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Courteous and professional demeanor


10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST
