We’re looking for an Assistant Market Head to:
We’re looking for an Assistant Market Head to:
- act as a deputy to the Market Head and partner to the entire Market Leadership Team in the daily management of the Market
- effectively engage with clients, prospects and COIs to deepen and expand current and potential relationships by delivering the breadth of UBS, through individual and group events
- run regular sales meetings, assist with implementing growth initiatives, evaluate progress and create action plans to address underperformance
- lead a structured coaching program for financial advisors, helping them to create capacity to grow their business and serve their clients with excellence
- when appropriate, manage and resolve all escalated issues, including financial, reputational, compliance, supervisory, operational and HR governance risks
- assist with recruiting and on-boarding of experienced financial advisors and oversee conversion of those transitioning
- assist team members to craft a compelling view of their professional future and prepare for that future
- coordinate with Divisional Consultants across key solution areas
- oversee new financial advisor and wealth planning associate education and craft meaningful professional development

You’ll be working as part of the Southeast Private Wealth Management Market for UBS Wealth Management Americas. We help ultra-high net worth families and family offices meet their financial goals through financial advisor teams who deliver products and services specifically designed for them. You’ll play an important role as an Assistant Market Head, supporting several Private Wealth Management offices as well as the Market Head. Diversity helps us grow, together. Your expertise
- ideally 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within a leading financial institution
- proven leadership experience
- series 7, 66, and 9/10
- excellent people and communication skills with experience in creating a positive business culture (you have the human touch); building relationships across a large company and proven success in constructively challenging the status quo
- motivated, self-directed and driven
- excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
