Your role
Do you know how to get the word out? Can you capture people's attention and keep them reading for more? We are looking for someone to help us:
- Provide strategic communications that drive our firm's strategy and business priorities through a broad suite of internal and client communications
- Develop and execute communications plans for initiatives supporting Wealth Management USA and its key constituencies
- Exercise judgment and deliver on communications planning and prioritization
- Position, write and edit materials nimbly and accurately; manage appropriate distribution in partnership with others on the team
- Act as a communications advisor to internal business partners to drive effective messaging and distribution
- Absorb information quickly and link related topics in an intellectually challenging environment
- Ensure that messages are succinct, clear and accurate, meet established communications standards and guidelines before publication and that all reviews and approvals are coordinated and obtained prior to distribution
- Support periodic and ad-hoc reports, presentations and communications materials
- Seek out and create opportunities for efficiency by assessing and improving current delivery systems and processes
- Work effectively, efficiently, and rapidly as required to complete assignments and ensure that communications are delivered in a timely and paced manner
Requirements
You have:
- A belief that communication is fundamental to the success of an organization
- A genuine passion for writing and communicating
- 7-10 years of experience in communications
- Poise and calm to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet competing/changing deadlines
- A highly motivated, independent and team-oriented personality
- An understanding of financial services and wealth management, and a desire to learn more
- Worked in a similar role before—so you get it
- A college degree, preferably in communications, business, journalism or marketing
- A strategic perspective, good instincts, outstanding writing skills, and strong leadership abilities
