Position Summary
The California Alliance for Minority Participation (CAMP) is part of both a statewide alliance and nationwide alliance called the Luis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP). CAMP is partially funded by the National Science Foundation. The primary focus of CAMP is to increase undergraduate degree completion rates for underrepresented students in STEM. CAMP offers a portfolio of programs that meet students where they are with concern for their academic pursuits. Newly admitted CAMP eligible students may participate in the Summer Science Academy to get them acclimated to the rigor associated with their first two years of STEM curriculum. Students are also able to participate in the How to be Successful in STEM course which is designed to prepare them for undergraduate research and strengthen their academic strategy. Scholars that are engaged in undergraduate research with UCI faculty principal investigators may participate in the Summer Research Scholars Program. CAMP also offers an Alumni Roundtables event to help demystify the process of going to graduate school or working in industry.
Under the supervision of the TIME Principal Investigator, serves as a Project Policy Analyst 3 for The Institute for Meaningful Engagement (TIME). This position will assist with the implementation of TIME, a grant focused on enhancing inclusive academic environments in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The position is largely focused on maintaining TIME’s online presence, data management, disseminating information concerning updates on the project, assisting faculty with questions and concerns, liaise with the Advisory Board concerning meetings logistics, assisting with the planning of the TIME Symposium, implementation of TIME at a community college, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence for the project. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of administrative processes, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $66,700.00 - $92,600.00 (Annual Salary). The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $66,700.00 - $118,500.00 (Annual Salary).

Required
- 5 years of high-level administrative and analytical experience.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs, including MS Suite, WordPress, Beaver Builder and Mail Chimp.
- Strong communication and advanced interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
- Analytical / problem-solving skills.
- Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data for preparing sound and relevant, reports, proposals / analyses.
