As a Student Lab Assistant, you will complete the following duties and tasks: prepare buffers and solutions, prepare lab consumables for autoclaving, receive shipments, manage mouse colony, inventory lab chemicals and other supplies, assist with DNA isolation from animal biopsies, assist with polymerase chain reactions and gel electrophoresis, and dataQualifications
*Must be a current UCLA student
*Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong organizational and time management skills
*Ability to work independently, to collaborate as a team member, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
