Job Posting for Associate Director, Donor Relations Operations at UCLA
The Associate Director, Donor Relations Operations is responsible for end-to-end management of donor giving through documentation, acknowledgement and reporting. The position reports and analyzes data to improve outcomes of all aspects of the development office. The role works closely with the Sr. Director, Stewardship and Development Operations and the Director of Stewardship to enhance the donor experience by ensuring that all gifts are structured, monitored, and reported upon in a timely manner that reflects the donor's intent.

Required/Preferred
1. Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience and progressive responsibility as a professional donor relations officer with strong knowledge of the principles and practices of development within a complex research university setting.

2. Superb customer service approach with well-developed interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and build and sustain lasting relationships with a wide variety of internal and external constituents.

3. Ability to manage, evaluate and interpret analytical, statistical and financial information, think strategically and generate creative solutions for reporting, training and overall best practices of the development and stewardship programs.

4. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications, as well as familiarity with other database, spreadsheet, scheduling and email applications; willingness to learn new programs and applications as needed.

5. Outstanding organizational skills and proficiency in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner and on deadline with a demonstrated track record of process improvement.

6. Demonstrated project management skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy.

7. Excellent oral and written communication skills to collect and relay information with accuracy and diplomacy.

10. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

11. Demonstrated proficiency in Blackbaud CRM or equivalent development database and the use of databases to generate reports is preferred.
