Duties
Work on-site at our new Behavioral and Mental Health Counseling Center providing:
Psychosocial Assessments
Short-term individual and group counseling/therapy
Risk Assessment
Crisis Intervention
Consultation
Case Management/Care Coordination
Referrals to community resources
Workforce training, education, and engagement
Additional services and support as directed by the Behavioral and Mental Health Program Manager
Documentation maintenance
Community engagement
Confidentiality as per HIPAA and other governmental regulations
May be required to assist in ancillary office/clinic duties such as scheduling, generating reports, assessments, metrics, etc.
Substance Use Disorder treatment experience a plus
Grief Counseling experience a plus

Job-Related Qualifications Required
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Must have completed a graduate program in Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and have an independent and unencumbered license in the state of Tennessee to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Must have at least two years of experience
Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider Designation
- Must have a master’s degree in counseling from an institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Counsel of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs, or a comparable accrediting body.
- Must have met the licensing requirements applicable to the state of Tennessee and any other location(s) in which he/she works including completion of supervision requirements to practice independently.
- Must have at least two years of experience
- Must have a Mental Health Services Provider designation
