If end date is listed, the posting will come down at 12:00 am on that date: Thursday October 05, 2023 About The Position The Manager, ED Technical Training is responsible for leading the instructor led training and instructional design staff supporting Ameren Missouri field operations. Key responsibilities include: · Manage and direct a staff of training professionals, including planning, organizing and staffing. · Oversee training on business process, systems and the required roles and responsibilities for co-workers to develop skill proficiency and maintain job qualifications. · Enhance supervisor performance through on the job observations, providing coaching and feedback on the application of training material. · Evaluate training effectiveness through testing, assessments and training evaluations to ensure continuous improvement. · Collaborate with leadership to proactively identify improvement opportunities and potential training solutions. · Coordinate training schedules and track progress completion and compliance in the Insight Learning Management System (LMS). · Participate as a team lead in Ameren’s Learning Council; provide governance of the LMS; ensure that training requirements are identified and maintained through LMS. · Oversee role of Public Safety Advisor, including training, call-out and support during major storm events. · Provide project oversight and change management as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required. Seven or more years of operations, construction, distribution system, or Customer Service experience required. Three or more years of supervisory or project management experience required. Three or more years of training or instructional design experience required. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Excellent written and verbal communications. Must have good organization, decision-making, and teamwork skills. Proficiency with general computer skills. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency required relating to the following areas: ED field operations policies and procedures, safety practices and policies, etc., HR policies, labor relations, Insight, etc., and work management processes and systems.
