What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Estimator position at UESI?
UESI is currently searching for a Junior Estimator to work with or staff in our Fort Pierce, FL office. You will perform various administrative and clerical functions to support the Estimating department while learning the essential tasks necessary to become a successful Estimator. Tasks include processing paperwork, maintaining files, managing bid schedules, and distributing information to team members.

Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming estimating calls and emails
- Receive and distribute plans and pertinent information for bids
- Contact vendors/sub-contractors for quotes and qualifications
- Maintain the Company lists of qualified vendors/subcontractors
- Answer questions regarding the bid process and basic project queries
- Maintain the company estimate log and track the bid status
- Maintain, update, and distribute the bid list, packages, addenda, and documentation to ensure a complete, accurate, and timely bid process
- Prepare the necessary bid or proposal documents for timely submission
- Maintain a record of all jobs we are bidding in the appropriate folders on the server
Qualifications:
- Office experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite 365
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration is preferred. (All relevant professional experience considered)
