UESI seeks a mid-level engineer with a Florida PE for its Structural Inspections team in Fort Pierce, FL. Technical responsibilities may include underwater inspections of various structures (bridges, bulkheads, dams, marinas, piers, ports, seawalls, or wharves). Inspections may include condition and quality control, structural design and analysis of such structures, preparing technical reports, rehabilitations, and project repairs.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to plan, direct, and monitor marine engineering and diving projects
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and cost estimates for review and approval
- Prepare preliminary concept designs and submit for approval
- Experience with structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition inspection is a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of commercial diving and ADCI requirements for surface-supplied air diving
- Project Management experience preferred
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil engineering with an emphasis in Structural design
- 5 years of experience in underwater inspections, commercial dive operations, and marine engineering projects
- PE in Florida or other states, preferred
- National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification is a plus
