General Summary
Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of Company products and services through developing and maintaining customer contacts within an assigned area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Latin America and/or Middle East.
Location: This person can be located anywhere in the U.S. but Miami is preferred
Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 Years or more (Preferred; experience in Lumber and/or Int Business / Trade)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
- Fluent in English
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base
- Identifies customers needs and solves problems
- Understands and performs cost savings analysis for customers
- Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
- Gain in depth market understanding and find ways to innovate
- Trade products on an international platform
- Troubleshoots problems for customers
- Monitors sales market in assigned regions
- Prepares various reports as required
- Performs other duties as required

- Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking
- Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and the public
- Demonstrated proficiency to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities, and to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to be mobile in the work environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to apply business math to manufacturing processes
- Additional languages are a plus but not mandatory
