What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at UFS LLC?

As part of a diverse and skilled Technology Service Delivery team, you will be tasked with providing project management for internal infrastructure projects and customer-facing projects primarily for onboard implementation for new UFS bank customers and new Managed Services products. You’ll coordinate and ensure completion of projects on time within a budget and within scope; setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects. This position works under the leadership of the Vice President of Technology Service Delivery and in collaboration with other team members across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with members of the organization to determine and define project scope and objectives
- Align project objectives with company initiatives and ensure project team is clear on objectives
- Determine resources needed to reach objectives and manage these in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with bank customers as well as other members of the organization
- Manage contracts with vendors by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Communicate project updates on a consistent basis to various members of the organization and/or customers
- Track project performance in order to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project objectives
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Work multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer-or business-related discipline required
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience required
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in the financial industry or a technology-focused environment preferred
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, usually waist high, up to 50 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
