Responsibilities

Summary of Core Job Functions:  Responsible for providing support, consultation, and research for senior management, regional operations/management, development, and financial reporting functions of Horizon Health and its divisions. This will include monitoring of regulations, analyses of current service offerings, financial forecasting and modeling of trends and changes affecting the healthcare industry.

Essential Core Functions:

  • Modeling financial impact for existing and potential clients in order to assess a program’s financial viability, identify opportunities for improvement, strengths, and other analysis as applicable for decision-making with VPs of Operations, Sales and Executive Management.
  • Review of methodologies for appropriate application in financial models and analyses.
  • Evaluate, forecast, and analyze client financial performance for strategic discussion and presentation.
  • Travel approximately 10% of time.
  • Evaluate, forecast, and analyze potential investments and divestitures, as well as general economic outlooks.
  • Research new business lines to assist Executive Management with strategic planning and new business line opportunities

    • Qualifications

    Job Specifications:

  • Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or related area.
  • Minimum two to three years experience.
  • Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, procedures and regulations.
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Proficiency in use and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong research and interpretation skills
  • Strong analytical skills in all areas of finance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
