Job Overview:
Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered.
General Responsibilities:
- Routinely cleans patient’s rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients.
- May clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.
- Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility.
- Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention.
- Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.
- Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner
- Able to multi-task with safety practices.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or Equivalent preferred.
- Prior housekeeping experience, preferred.
- Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
