The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Nurse Manager-Dual Diagnosis Program
The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County.

The Nurse Manager has 24 hours a day, 7 days a week responsibility for program activities and treatment services provided on the Dual Diagnosis unit. This position is responsible for selection and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring effective and efficient clinical programming, unit staffing, budgeting, and compliance with hospital and regulatory agency standards. The Nurse Manager promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Horsham clinic. The Nurse Manager will have specific experience working with the in dual diagnosis population.
Job Duties:
- Providing direct supervision to all Nursing staff on the dual diagnosis unit
- Ensuring services provided correspond to Horsham Clinic’s philosophy and guidelines and in compliance with all regulatory bodies
- Providing managerial and fiscal oversight.
- Participating in all staff recruitment and making recommendations regarding hiring of new staff
- Ensuring that all nursing staff receive core competency training as per UHS and PA mental health regulations and best practices
- Assisting in preparation of reports and budgets required by regulatory agencies
- Working collaboratively with all team members to ensure the care coordination of patients

Requirements:
- BSN or higher and have a PA license
- 5 years of post-grad experience working with adults with severe mental illness, at least 3 of which is working in-patient dual diagnosis program
- Have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
- Experience working with a diverse population and have a strong knowledge of program development for the dual diagnosis population
- Knowledge of PA State regulations, DDAP and Joint Commission requirements
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Must be available 24/7 for telephone support of staff for emergencies
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Ability to actively participate in ongoing staff trainings and educational programs
