The full time Therapeutic Activities Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned program, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients.

Our Housekeeping Department is seeking a dependable and flexible person to perform such housekeeping routines as cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA, NJ State Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. This is a per diem position.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, and/or Masters degree preferred in Recreation, Fine Art, Music, or Expressive Therapy preferred.
Experience: One (1) year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with an understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Licensure: Certification, licensure, and/or Board Certification by state and/or national governing body in art therapy preferred.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR Certification preferred and successful completion of Handle With Care prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 90 days of employment preferred. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
