Responsibilities
Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and outpatient services provider in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to healing our patients’ minds and bodies through a combination of high-quality clinical services and holistic healing practices.
We are seeking to hire an Admissions Coordinator ($23.00/hour - $26.00/hour DOE plus Shift Differential!) to fill a full time role in our dynamic mental health facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Admission Counselors with assessments and referrals. Coordination of admission includes, but is not limited to: managing calls, patient rounding, signing patients in and making charts. Opportunities for career development toward QMHA status under Assessment Supervisors.
Work Schedule: 9:00 pm – 7:30 am

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Services or related field. QMHA preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in a Mental Health related field. Data collection and report writing skills needed; must be able to navigate computer programs (Excel, Power Point, etc.) Knowledge of case management process and military protocol strongly preferred.
May be asked to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
