Job Summary: The Community Relations Representative is responsible for developing; planning and implementing the CMS approved marketing strategy for events, community activities and brochure placement to drive appointment and sales opportunities for interested eligible candidates in the service area, according to the prescribed rules and regulations of the Medicare Contract.
At all times, the Representative must conduct in full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Requirements:
· BA/BS degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
· Three years’ direct consumer services sales experience
· Life and Health Producer’s license issued by the State of Florida required (must have a valid license prior to the first day of employment)
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a motor vehicle
· Knowledge and experience in healthcare, insurance sales, Medicare products, and client management
· Ability to apply state and federal insurance laws and legislation and Prominence business processes to everyday circumstances needed
Language Skills:
· Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
· Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish-English)
Skills:
· Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Suite knowledge
· Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Strong time management, organizational and follow up skills required, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
· Must be creative, innovative and have excellent interpersonal skills; and
· Must be self-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic and energetic
