TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The Critical Access Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. The Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents. The program provides rural acute care hospitals with a range of opportunities for service enhancement and quality of care improvement. Quality healthcare and patient safety is our goal. TMC Bonham is managed by Texoma Medical Center, subsidiary of UHS.
This position is responsible for supervision of the Business Office, performing managerial functions and supporting the Business Office Director in decision making and department standards.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Seven (7) years of healthcare experience and three (3) years experience with hospital patient accounting duties and responsibilities
Basic PC experience, 10-key calculator, keyboarding, and use of other office machines such as copier, fax, etc. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding. Knowledge of healthcare payer reporting. Knowledge of third-party payers - Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance. Outstanding people skills, including telephone technique, personal appearance, organization skills, communicable skills (oral and written), independent and self-motivate, flexible, analytic and arithmetic skills, negotiation skills, problem solving skills
