What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIETITIAN position at UHS?
Roxbury Hospital is currently seeking a part-time dietitian to oversee the nutritional needs of the patients in our behavioral healthcare facility. The Dietitian is responsible for assessing and supervising the nutritional needs of the patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Roxbury Treatment Center and the American Dietetics Association. The position is about 10 - 15 hours per week and the schedule is very flexible. This position is can be either on-site or via telehealth.
Job Duties and Responsbilities:
- knowledge of age appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritional counseling and education, dietary planning and food and drug interactions.
- counsel clients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits.
- providing age and developmentally appropriate diet planning and education and assuring quality nutritional care is provided to all patients.

Qualifications
Dietitian Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition required, Certification as a registered dietitian
- One year of clinical dietitian experience in a health care environment. Prior work with a mental health population strongly desired.
