Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to begin offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri.  Our 102-provides a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance use issues.  Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, the Cape Girardeau region has long been an area of vibrant commerce and abundance, with significant roots in agriculture and trading posts which produced generations of people full of pride and a determination to put in a hard day’s work.  This regional economy enjoys many diverse industry sectors, each thriving and enjoying the fruits of their labor. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services.  The Director manages all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinating caseloads, developing and managing the outpatient staff, and marketing the program.  This goal for this position is to maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts, and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business developmental systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.

Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.

Licensure: Current LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT (license issued by the State of Missouri).

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities. CPR and HWC/CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services.
