The UHS Business Development Department is hiring a Division Director Military Programs - Behavioral Health (BH) to work with the Divisional Patriot Support team and develop growth strategies for military and VA programs across the BH Division.
As UHS continues to grow as a market leader in the Behavioral Healthcare arena. We are looking to grow our Business Development function adding a key member in our Military/Armed Forces strategy. The chosen candidate will be accountable for growth in Tricare and Veterans Administration business across the Behavioral Health continuum of facilities at UHS.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop growth strategies for military and VA across the BH Division in collaboration with the Divisional Patriot Support team,
Represent the full extent of the Patriot Support Product. Provide direct account management and marketing to key decision makers and referrers at military installations and/or VA access points as assigned - Identify and develops new referral relationships – additive accounts to current known customers to UHS
- Assist facility-based business development staff on relationship development with key military and VA stakeholders as needed
- Actively identify opportunities for new program and service line development with assigned installations
- Collaborate with other critical departments such as Product, Operations, Clinical and Development to assist in the growth strategy for the BH Division. Review core standards & clinical outcomes to align with the Patriot Support program
- Provide referrers with direct access for assistance in making referrals to the Patriot Support assets across the U.S.
- Accept and coordinate referrals from accounts by collaborating with the facilities and the national call center to expedite the process
- Maintain regular communication with facility leadership regarding activity
- Assist as needed in training facility staff in the cultural and operational expectations for all active-duty service members and referrers
- Provide timely updated information related to troop deployment at assigned installations and anticipated base assignment changes
- Represent Patriot Support Programs via participation in National conferences and other industry meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree is preferred (*Extensive military service of 15 years or more may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.)
- 5-8 Years related experience required. 10 years preferred
- Working knowledge of behavioral health hospitals and healthcare business development is a plus
- Success in the position is dependent on the employee’s ability to easily access military installations, military treatment facilities and military command staff
- Military Service Background Highly preferred
- An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management
- Ability to travel up to 70-85%
