Financial Counselor

Prairie St. John's, a 110-bed psychiatric care facility located in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

This is not just a job. The financial counselor is a valuable member of our team and Prairie family. We work together to save lives, change lives, and offer hope for the future. The financial counselor informs our patients of their financial obligations and help them through the process of obtaining outside funding. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The financial counselor is eligible for a $1000 sign on bonus!!

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Previous patient accounting experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work with people is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, receive direction from several different people, problem solve and prioritize workload independently
