Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered behavioral health care for the greater Milwaukee community. Our 120-bed facility features evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults.
We are looking for a full-time night shift House Supervisor (RN) to join our new team! This position is 7:00PM - 7:30AM with rotating weekends.
House Supervisors are responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff. The House Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of the nursing staff, patients, and patient care during their shift. The House Supervisor will work closely with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during their shift.

Qualifications
The House Supervisor (RN) position requires:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in CPI within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
