Prairie St. John's, a 120-bed psychiatric care facility located in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.
The Human Resources Manager position is an integral part of the team at Prairie St. John's. Reporting to the CEO, the HR Manager ensures the department is in compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as accrediting and regulatory agencies. Duties include: full cycle recruitment process for all positions within the facility, employee relation resolution, serve as the benefit liaison from the corporate office to the employees, orientation and training, workers compensation, HRIS administration and maintenance, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications
The ideal HR Manager candidate will bring sound management experience and solid HR practices managing all functional areas of human resources. This position requires a willingness to roll up your sleeves to ensure the day-to-day HR operations of the department are fully compliant.
The HR Manager position requires:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.
Experience: A minimum of five years experience in human resources, one year HR administration and two years of healthcare preferred.
Certification: Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
