Salary from $36.00 to $67.00 per hour.
How you will make an impact:
The Intake Clinician position is fast paced, requires self- motivation, critical thinking and excellent clinical judgement skills. This position is responsible for taking inquiry calls, crisis calls and assisting in setting up appropriate assessment appointments for Cedar Hills Hospital Inpatient Services or for assisting with referrals to other appropriate treatment resources. This position provides assessment evaluations, determines level of care, makes treatment recommendations and provides full risk assessment and safety planning. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing initial insurance pre-certifications and providing accurate clinical information to obtain insurance authorization.

Qualifications
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in social services or related field.
• One or more years’ experience in psychiatric hospital or similar setting, preferably with intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting with supervisory experience.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Oregon as an RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC or related licensure.
• A working knowledge of the DSM-V and the Mental Status Exam.
