LCCA currently has exciting opportunities for a Full Time Lead Therapist to join our awesome clinical team. The Lead Therapist is responsible for
comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
assisting law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary.
referrals to community resources as appropriate.
functioning as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization.
participates in continuous performance improvement activities.
communicating with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.
lead therapist will also be responsible for taking the role and responsibilities of the Director of Clinical Services as necessary.
creating and implementing programming schedules, providing monthly clinical supervision to therapist, and oversee mental health technician groups
- ensuring that clinical services is in compliance with all regulatory standards
- ensuring validity of psychosocial assessments, active treatment, and discharge planning
- ensuring therapeutic Treatment Plans are in accordance with regulations and within required time frames
- representing Social Services department in interdepartmental meetings and facilitating open communication between Social Services and other departments

Qualifications
Education/ Licensure:
- Masters Degree in a behavioral science related field (psychology, social work, human services, or counseling)
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a supervised clinical behavioral health care experience preferred.
- Current state licensure or licensure eligible.
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have sufficient language skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately and professionally implement and document the services provided to clients.
- Additional languages preferred.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of a wide range of psychosocial, cognitive and /or developmental disorders.
- Ability to visually observe client needs.
- Possess the ability to work productively and effectively.
