POSITION SUMMARY
The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. Utilizing referral systems within the intake department to screen patients for psychiatric care. Accept or Deny patients based on the exclusionary criteria and medical necessity of the patient.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an accredited professional school of nursing
Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience as a LPN
Licensure: Is licensed as a practical nurse, according to A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15.
Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression Behavior (SAMA) within 30 days of employment
