SUMMARY: Responsible for covering clinical offices based on operational need. Assists in the examination and treatment of patients, take vital signs, record patient charges, record patient history, assist in minor office procedures. Participate in patient education, communicating effectively with others and functioning in the scope of practice. Thorough knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques.

HOURS: MON - FRI 8A - 9P
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Graduate of accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing. One (1) year previous experience in an ambulatory care setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license, current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association and IV certification required. Current ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association certification preferred.
