Job Description:
Responsible for nursing care and performing technical nursing procedures as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an approved program in practical (vocational) nursing
License/Certification:
Current LPN license in the state of Nevada. Current BCLS Certification.
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
Note:
An LPN graduate is a nurse who has completed a course of study at a school of nursing and is eligible for the NCLEX. The LPN graduate performs directly under the supervision of the Resource Nurse or designee. An interim LPN license must be granted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing. NV State IV certification
