The Psychiatric Technician Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Psychiatric Technicians and Counselor Aides in collaboration with the Unit Managers. This position provides administrative and technical supervision to all Psychiatric Technicians on inpatient units. The Supervisor is a liaison to department directors and senior leadership to ensure services are provided in a coordinated and efficient manner.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in the areas of human services or High school diploma and Minimum of (5) year experience working in a direct care setting.
Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationship processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting, and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
