Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and Quality Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit.  This is a Full-Time position/Day shift.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN Preferred

Licensure/Certification:

• Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sustain physical activity throughout the scheduled shift
• Able to remain on feet throughout the scheduled shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and physical restraint of patient
