At Three Rivers Behavioral Health, a 122 bed facility located in West Columbia, SC, we never forget that patients are people -- people with potential, who can have better relationships and live more productive lives.  For those who seek a secure environment, healing, hope, treatment, and recovery, Three Rivers is the first place for a second chance.  Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents & adults.  Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions.

The Nurse Manager is a key member of the Nursing Leadership Team who is responsible for overseeing the operations of an inpatient unit. Actively serves as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization philosophy of care and ensuring the safety & well-being of each patient.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements for this position are:

 

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of college of nursing. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in

nursing. Specialty certification also preferred.

 

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred.

 

Age Population Served: adolescent and adult (depending upon unit)

 

Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.  BLS/CPI Certification training required    

  • Demonstrates sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the unit for any given shift
  • Flexibility regarding hours and scheduled work & ability to work on units, as needed
  • Record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be an exemplary role model to others.
  • Actively participate in On Call rotation for Nursing Department; which includes staffing and working in patient care areas as needed.
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in a variety of clinical and support team members
