Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity
This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a 12 hour night shift schedule (8pm-8am), Monday through Friday with every other weekend.

For nearly 40-years, Holly Hill Hospital has served a variety of populations, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those in our community experiencing psychiatric and addictive disorders. We currently provide specialized treatment programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. When Holly Hill first opened, we had just 58-beds. Today, our health system includes three campuses and serves more than 8,000 patients annually with 296-licensed beds and Outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). In 2018, we opened our new, 64-bed Adult Specialty Hospital at our South Campus. And, we recently added ECT programming to our menu of services.

Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provide medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population. Direct the implementation of behavior management programs and ensure consistent carry-through. Make patient & task assignments to subordinates & monitor their performance of duties. Provide training & education to staff, patients, families, & others. Document patient care, ensure that data is accurate, & that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experience:
- One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults, adolescents and/or children preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License
- Current North Carolina Driver’s License
- Current CPR Certification
- CPI Certification
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
- Knowledge of milieu management.
- Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
- Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side-effects.
- Ability to safely implement Special Treatment Procedures.
- Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation
