Staffing & Treatment Plan Coordinator Opportunity
This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week working Monday-Thursday 10 hours shifts and offers full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime, if interested.
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to children, adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our three outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Staffing & Treatment Plan Coordinator provides office and paraprofessional support for the day to day operations of the Nursing Department. Duties include coordinating staff schedules on a monthly and daily basis, scheduling patient transports, completing staff time card corrections, scheduling staff trainings, treatment planning, etc. Functions as a RN, Admissions Nurse, House Supervisor or Mental Health Tech as scheduled.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Completes all time card corrections for the nursing department on office days and reports any issues with tardiness, missed lunches or missed punches to the Director of Nursing.
- Schedules patient transports (in vivo, local, and long-distance) and coordinates the handling of reimbursement and receipts for the Transporters. Maintains current drivers list, phone numbers, etc. May assist with and perform patient transports as necessary.
- Creates and maintains nursing staff schedules via Shifthound utilizing the nursing grid and master schedule. Maintains coverage for additional scheduling needs due to changes in the day to day staffing of the nursing department. Schedules department orientation for new employees. Assists DON with implementation of special projects and programs as needed.
- Works with Employee Health and Staff Development to schedule nursing employees for required trainings and screenings to include CPI, CPR and TSTs.
- Assists with purchasing and stocking of supply rooms, lab rooms and units as assigned.
- Leads staff education programs such as phlebotomy, CPI, verbal de-escalation, CPR or General Orientation classes as qualified and assigned.
- Functions as a House Supervisor, RN, Admissions RN or MHT as scheduled based on facility needs. Provides lunch coverage for RNs or MHT’s. Covers as House Supervisor after the ADON shift ends and during ADON scheduled time off.
- Serves as the Treatment Plan coordinator for the Nursing Department. Monitors compliance of treatment plans and assist with completion as necessary. Completes the nursing component of master treatment plans as assigned. Reports any compliance issues to the Director of Nursing or her designee and assist with any training or action plans as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Active Florida State license or Compact License as RN
- Two years clerical experience preferred
- RN experience preferred
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
