SUMMARY: Safely sets up and maintains sterile field, while becoming proficient in all surgical specialties. Participates as a member of the surgical team, and provides patient care as assigned by the Preoperative Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. HOURS: Monday - Friday, 830a - 530p
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years of experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: O.R.T. Certification from a recognized accredited program and/or equivalent experience will substitute the O.R.T. certification. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association certification required.
