What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Receptionist position at UHS?
Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital is an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Stuart, FL, and provides inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our professional staff individualizes care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each patient case and their family's needs. Because crisis occurs at all times of the day and night, our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting, assisting and signing in/out of patients, visitors and vendors, answering phones, managing mail, documenting incoming deliveries and providing clerical support to other areas as assigned. Assists in the facilitation of safety and security inititives includinng announcing codes, reviewing and documenting patient belongings and identifying escalation issues in the reception and sub-waiting areas.
Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Two (2) years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
Additional Requirements: The position requires weekend to be worked and may require to work occasional overtime. Must be flexible and have a team spirit working demeanor.
Hours of operation are from 8am to 8pm M-F and 830am to 8:00pm on Weekends.
This position is a temporary - 12-16 weeks
24hrs at week
