Job Summary: Provides indirect/direct patient care in the Geropsych setting. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Prepares and compiles records in the Geropsych Unit. Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff. Participates in performance improvement activities. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies and procedures and standards. Monitors security cameras. Assists RN with patient care as needed.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification (w/in 90 days)
