Utilization Reviewer

Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.
Prairie St. John's currently has a full-time opening for a Utilization Reviewer. This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Occasional Weekends. Our Utilization Reviewers review patient medical records and adjunctive information from the treatment team to make determination for appropriate level of care and communicate the recommendation to the treatment team. They also are able to demonstrate compliance with 3rd party payer requirements for authorizations and is competent with telephone, written and online reviews.

Qualifications
Utilization Reviewer Requirements:
- Licensure in the state of North Dakota as an LPCC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or RN.
- Superb documentation skills
- Previous Utilization review experience preferred
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook.
