Position Overview: The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. CFO Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the executive team and board of directors. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity. Optimize financial resources to support the company's operational and strategic goals.
- Investment Management: Oversee investment decisions and manage relationships with investors and financial institutions. Evaluate and recommend opportunities for growth and capital expenditures.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Operational Efficiency: Enhance financial systems, controls, and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee accounting, budgeting, and financial planning functions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the department.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the company’s long-term strategy and business plan. Align financial goals with overall company objectives.
CFO Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role, preferably within the property management or real estate sector.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and investment strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
