What you'll learn & achieve:
Reporting to VP Talent and UL University, the Director Sales Enablement owns delivering impactful strategies, processes and programs to drive productivity and performance improvements throughout the global UL Solutions sales organization. Develops and delivers the necessary training, content, processes, practices, and tools needed to support and enable the sales talent throughout the customer journey.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads sales enablement team to ensure readiness, support high performance across sales organization and enable account-based selling approach through development of enablement programs and content on time, quality, and within budget.
- Governs and communicates sales methodologies, best practices, and processes aligned with a unified global UL Solutions commercial framework and go-to-market approach
- In partnership with the business, develops and implements a sales training strategy to ensure relevant and customer aligned skill building and improvement
- Identifies sales performance indicators to measure, monitor, and improve UL Solutions' competitive advantage and reports on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments and programs
- Owns and manages sales asset creation, distribution, support, and communication
- Leads sales play system to optimize deal velocity and sales conversion
- In partnership with broader talent communications role, leads commercial change management including formulation of change strategy, stakeholder management and communications
- Understands product/service positioning and messaging to ensure sales teams are fully enabled prior to release
- Stays informed of new and emerging sales enablement methodologies and leads the implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies
What makes you a great fit:
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor's degree) plus generally ten years' experience in sales, account management or sales enablement role as well as minimal 5 years experience in a leadership role
- Proven ability to develop and manage sales competency models, enablement playbooks, and training for sales talent
- Demonstrated experience for coaching, training, mentoring, and empowering others to drive results, experience in content delivery and adult learning preferred
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience and understanding of B2B sales and go-to-market strategies
- Knowledge of sales content distribution and learning management systems
- Experience working with diverse, global teams strongly preferred
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and influence behaviors to support change across an organization
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
