Your Role: What you'll be doing
The Program Planning and Control Analyst participates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and Cost/Schedule reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Employee must possess the ability to meet critical deadlines, while producing an accurate product.
In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
Prepares budgets and schedules for scope and performs and/or assists in financial/schedule analyses such as funding profiles, variance analysis, critical paths, schedule margin, negative float resolution, and schedule integration/risk assessment desired.- Assist with development of quarterly Estimate At Complete (EAC) evaluations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis for both program management.
- Support internal and external monthly and quarterly program reviews.
- Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
- Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
- Develop and deliver periodic and ad hoc reporting and analysis, both financial and operational, supporting management decision making and performance measurement.

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. Proficiency in the MS Office software suite and the ability to quickly learn other tools
- Related experience in Finance (Scheduling or Budgeting role)
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in outside activities, outside organizations or college coursework projects
