What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Manager position at Ultimate Staffing?
We are looking for an Equipment Specialist to join one of our amazing clients in Davis, CA! This position supplies and services cell culture and bio-industrial markets with media formulations, complementary products and contract services.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
- Assist with the procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification and use of products and analytical equipment in conjunction with Department Managers.
- Knowledge of managing equipment records and IOP qualifications for manufacturing related equipment in an FDA regulated environment.
- Oversee/perform maintenance of equipment, equipment installation, and testing.
- Establish equipment asset management programs, including managing and executing predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs for research labs and manufacturing capital equipment.
- Maintain equipment safety and compliance in partnership with internal QC, lab management, safety committee and facilities manager.
- Manage key relationships between internal teams, external vendors and service providers.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice concepts, practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with deviations, nonconformances and issues management as well as a familiarity of 21 CFR 820, 210, 211, and ISO 13485.
- Proactively manage equipment concerns, including the ability to make minor mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline
- Relevant certification program of 4 years of industry experience in GMP equipment management required
- Experience with CMMS software required

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
